IIT Kanpur Department of Earth Sciences (DES) Junior Research Fellowship 2021 is a fellowship opportunity offered to M.Sc.or M.Tech. degree holders. The selected fellow is required to work on a project entitled - "Characterization and Monitoring of Contaminant Plume Migration from Waste Dump Sites in Shallow Aquifers Using Time-Lapse Geophysical Studies Coupled with Geochemical Analyses and Associated Hydrogeological Modelling." The selected fellow will receive a consolidated salary of INR 31,000 per month.

DeadlineClosed Eligibility To be eligible, an applicant must -
- Hold an M. Sc. or M.Tech. degree in Applied Geophysics/Geophysics/related field with a minimum of one year of working experience in the acquisition and processing of geophysical data
Desirable Experience: The candidate must have working experience in Electrical Resistivity Tomography (ERT) Data Acquisition, Monitoring Well Establishment, related Data Analysis, and Hydrogeological Modeling.
Benefits The selected fellow will receive a consolidated salary of INR 31,000 per month.
