About The Program
IIT Indore SERB Post-Doctoral Fellowship 2022 is a research opportunity offered by the Indian Institue of Technology, Indore to Ph.D. degree holders. The candidate is required to work on a project entitled - "Designing of Mn-based Catalysts for Conversion of Ethanol to Butanol: A Biofuel Alternative to Gasoline". The objective of the project is designing of Mn-based catalysts for the conversion of ethanol to higher carbon-based products. The candidate will receive a fellowship as per SERB rules/regulations.

To be eligible, an applicant must -
- Hold a Ph.D. degree in Science/Engineering in the field of Computational Modeling of Materials
Note - The candidate who has submitted a thesis can also apply for the post.
Benefits
- The candidate will receive a fellowship as per SERB rules/regulations.
- The Postdoctoral Fellow will be entitled to medical allowance as per institute policy.
- The travel entitlement for a Postdoctoral Fellow for participation in scientific events/workshops in India will continue to be as per institute norms.
- All Postdoctoral fellows will be provided accommodation based on availability and those residing in accommodation provided by the institute will not be eligible for drawing HRA. Wherever provision of hostel accommodation is not possible, HRA will be allowed to Postdoctoral Fellow as per Government norms applicable in the city/location where they are working. The fellowship amount will be taken as the basis for calculating the HRA.
