About The Program
IIT Indore Department of Physics (DP) Junior Research Fellowship 2021 is an opportunity for postgraduate degree holders. The selected fellow will have to work on CSIR funded research project titled - “Oxide Semiconductor Thin Films and their Applications in the Field of Energy and DRA". The selected candidate will receive a variable award.
EligibilityDeadline Date: Closed
To be eligible, an applicant must -
- Have at least an M.Sc degree with first class in Physics
- Have at least 6 months of an experimental project in any branch of Physics
- Have first-author publications in complex perovskite oxides and in the fabrication of thin films of oxide materials
- Have a strong understanding of material characterisation and sol-gel synthesis
- Have a strong understanding of the refinement of crystal structure using Fullprof Software and Structural Modeling using Mercury/VESTA software
Desirable qualification:
- Have Mechanical properties measurement
Note - The materials characterization techniques should include the following: XRD, FESEM, DTA, TGA, Raman/FTIR spectroscopy, UV-vis/PL spectroscopy, Ferroelectric measurements, Magneto-electric measurement techniques, Dielectric properties.
