About The Program

IIT Hyderabad Department of Biotechnology Junior Research Fellowship 2022 is a research opportunity offered to graduate or postgraduate degree holders. The selected candidate is required to work on a project entitled - "Investigation of Dependence of Cytotoxicity of Caspase-cleaved TDP-25, TDP-35 and Alternate Spliced TDP-43-S1 and TDP-43-S-2 Fragments of TDP-43 on the IRE1 Pathway of the ER Stress Response Mechanism in the TDP-43 Proteinopathy Models of Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis Disease". The fellow will receive a fellowship of INR 31,000 per month plus HRA.

To be eligible, an applicant must - 

  • Be 35 years of age
  • Hold an M.Tech. degree in Biotechnology or an allied subject or M.Sc. degree in Biotechnology or an allied subject, OR
  • Hold a B.Tech. degree in Biotechnology or an allied subject
  • Be GATE qualified
Benefits

The fellow will receive a fellowship of INR 31,000 per month plus HRA.
