About The Program
Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati invites applications for IIT Guwahati Department of Biosciences & Bioengineering Junior Research Fellowship 2020 from BE/BTech/ME/MTech degree holders. The fellowship is meant for the project "Proximal Femoral Locking Plates (PFLP): Biomechanical Exploration of Design Variants for North Eastern (NE) Population". The selected fellows will receive a consolidated salary of INR 31,000 and other benefits.

To be eligible, an applicant must:
- Hold BE/BTech/ME/MTech degree in Mechanical Engineering/Biomedical Engineering with GATE score
- Have knowledge of CAD, FE packages like Ansys, and/or
any image processing module will be desirable
Note: Some understanding of Biomechanics will be an additional advantage.
Benefits
The selected fellows will receive a consolidated salary of INR 31,000, HRA of INR 4,960, and medical benefits of INR 1,250 for a duration of 11 months.
