IIT Goa School of Mechanical Sciences (MS) Junior Research Fellowship 2022 is a research opportunity offered by the Indian Institute of Technology, Goa to bachelor's/master's degree holders. The selected candidate is required to work on the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) sponsored project entitled - “Development of a Multigrid Algorithm for Unstructured Grid Finite Volume CFD Solver”. The candidate will receive a fellowship of INR 31,000 per month (as per norms).

DeadlineClosed Eligibility To be eligible, an applicant must -
- Hold a bachelors/master’s degree in Mechanical or allied branches of Engineering
- Have a valid GATE score
- Have working experience in a CFD project
Desirable Qualifications -- Have knowledge of programming in C++/python
- Have exposure to parallel programming
Note - Those who are completing the degree by June 2022 can also apply.
Benefits The candidate will receive a fellowship of INR 31,000 per month (as per norms).

- No TA/DA will be admissible for appearing for the interview.
- The qualification prescribed should have been obtained from recognized Universities/Institutions.
- The selected candidates will have to join in a reasonable time upon receipt of the offer.
- The appointment is purely temporary and will terminate automatically without any notice or compensation on the termination of the research project.
- Casual leaves of 8 days per annum are available. If the JRF joins during the midyear, CL would be calculated on a per pro-rata basis.
- The appointed person will have no claim of appointment/absorption in the funding Agency or in IIT Goa
