About The Program

Indian Institute of Technology, Gandhinagar invites applications for IIT Gandhinagar Junior Research Fellowship/Research Associateship 2020 from MSc or MTech/PhD degree holders. The fellowship is meant for the project titled, "Multiomics data analysis to demarcate oral cancer and healthy tissue for
margin clearance". The selected candidates will receive an emolument of INR 36,000 plus 20% HRA per month (For Research Associateship) and INR 25,000 per month plus 20% HRA (For Junior Research Fellowship).

To be eligible, an applicant must -

For Research Associateship:

  • Hold a PhD in bioinformatics or machine learning with a keen
    interest to apply machine learning techniques in biological data analysis

For Junior Research Fellowship:

  • Hold an MSc or MTech degree in Biotechnology/Life Sciences/Computer Science with at least 60% marks along with GATE/NET or any national level JRF eligibility test qualification.

Experience in running bioinformatics software as well as coding in python is highly desirable.

The selected candidates will receive an emolument of INR 36,000 plus 20% HRA per month (For Research Associateship) and INR 25,000 per month plus 20% HRA (For Junior Research Fellowship).
