About The Program
IIT Gandhinagar Humanities & Social Sciences Discipline (HSS) Post-Doctoral Fellowship 2022 is a research opportunity offered to Ph.D. degree holders. The selected candidate is required to work on a project entitled -“Indigenous Heritage as a Facilitator for Sustainable Development Goals." The selected candidate will receive a salary of INR 45,000 per month plus HRA.

To be eligible, an applicant must -
- Be below 35 years of age
- Hold a Ph.D. degree in Cultural Anthropology/Heritage Sustainability/Ethnoarchaeology/Social Archaeology/Indigenous Archaeology or related disciplines
- Have field research experience on the Nagas, Bhils or Australian Aborigines, Publications on Indigenous communities, Interest in heritage and wellbeing
- Have worked on archival records
- Be fluent in writing skills in English
