About The Program
IIT Gandhinagar Department of Mechanical Engineering Post-doctoral Fellowship 2021 is a research opportunity offered to Ph.D. degree holders in the area of Robotics/Control Systems. The candidate will be working on the project titled, "Robotic Exoskeleton and Self-Learning Robots With Impedance Control." The selected candidate will receive a fellowship of INR 50,000 per month plus INR 10,000 HRA.

To be eligible, an applicant must -
- Hold a Ph.D. in Mechanical/Electrical/Aerospace Engineering or allied areas with specialization in either robotics or control systems from a reputed institute or university
Note:
- Candidates who have completed their earlier post-doctoral fellowship assignment are also eligible.
- Recent Ph.D. or waiting for Thesis Defense after submission of thesis are eligible.

- The tenure for this position is one year and may be extended on mutual requirements and availability. However, it cannot exceed three years.
- A strong foundation in the dynamics and control of robotic systems is highly desired.
- Prior experience with building robotic systems and/or other experimental skills will be desirable.
