About The Program
IIT Gandhinagar Department of Humanities and Social Sciences Research Assistantship (RA) 2021 is a research opportunity offered to M.A./M.Sc./MSW degree holders. The selected candidate is required to work on a project entitled - "Mobility and Multilingualism in the Indian Ocean: Impacts of Global
Ecological Change on the Local Community”. The selected candidate will receive an emolument of INR 25,000 per month.

To be eligible, an applicant must -
- Below 40 years of age
- Hold an M.A./M.Sc./MSW degree from a recognized institute, preferably in Sociology, Anthropology, Development Studies, Social Work, Public Health, or a related field
- Be based in Ahmedabad or Gandhinagar area
- Have fluency in English reading and writing
- Have competency in Gujarati and Hindi languages
- Be familiar with a filling of IITGn forms of reimbursements and ethical clearance
Preferable Qualification - Experience in field-based research projects.
