About The Program
IIT Dharwad Department of Mechanical, Materials, and Aerospace Engineering (MMAE) Junior Research Fellowship 2022 is a research opportunity offered to graduate or postgraduate degree holders. The selected fellow is required to work on a project code and title - "MMAE/DVP/SERBCRG/2021/8.75 Suspension of Pre-heated Particles and their Interactions in nonNewtonian Fluids for Industrial Processes". The selected candidate will receive a consolidated emolument for INR 31,000 per month plus 16% HRA.
EligibilityDeadline Date: Closed
To be eligible, an applicant must:
- Not exceed 35 years of age as of the date of the selection process
- Hold a Postgraduate or Graduate degree in Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering or equivalent
- Be selected through GATE in papers ME/AE/CH or National level examination conducted by IIT
Desirable Qualifications:
- Strong fundamentals in fluid mechanics, multiphase flows, numerical modelling, C or C++ programming skills, soft skills, including knowledge and some experience in the immersed boundary and lattice Boltzmann method.
