About The Program
IIT Dharwad Department of Humanities and Social Sciences (DHSS) Junior Research Fellowship 2021 is a research opportunity offered to Graduate/Post Graduate degree holders. The selected fellow is required to work project entitled - "Exponential Ethical Affairs Concerning Autonomous Vehicles And Code Of Ethics For Data Acquisition". The selected candidate will receive a consolidated emolument for INR 31,000 per month plus 16% HRA.

To be eligible, an applicant must:
- Not be more than 32 years as of the date of the selection process
- Hold a Postgraduate degree in Basic Science/Arts/Humanities & Social Sciences or Graduate/Postgraduate degree in a professional course through a National Eligibility Test – UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) or GATE OR National level examination conducted by Central Govt. Departments and their agencies and Institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER, etc
Note - On the date of the interview, the candidate should produce at least a provisional certificate of the above-mentioned degree.
Desirable Qualification:
- Postgraduate degree or Masters in Philosophy
- Knowledge and familiarity with the concepts in Ethics
- Interest in working in the areas of Applied Ethics
- Interest in conducting interdisciplinary research in the areas of ethics and technology
- Exposure to engineering disciplines
