About The Program
IIT Dharwad Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) 2021 is a research opportunity offered to B.Tech./M.Tech./MCA/M.Sc./M.S. degree holders. The selected fellow is required to work on project code and entitled - "CSE/PKJ/SERBSRG/2021/8.69 “Safe Deep Reinforcement Learning". The selected candidate will receive a consolidated emolument for INR 31,000 per month plus HRA.

To be eligible, an applicant must:
- Not exceed 35 years of age as of the date of the selection process
- Hold a B.Tech./M.Tech./MCA/M.Sc./M.S. degree in Computer Science and Engineering (or related stream) from an accredited institution and selected through GATE in CSE or allied streams
- Have been selected through CSIR-UGC NET (Assistant Professorship) or those who have been selected by the central Govt. Departments and their agencies and institutions such as IISc, IISER, DRDO, DST etc.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Have good analytical skills in probability, linear algebra, optimization
- Have strong aptitude for programming in python, C, C++
- Have good experience in using python libraries like NumPy, sci-kit-learn, pandas, etc.
