- be a B.Sc./ B.C.A./ B.Tech./ M.C.A. degree holder
Preferable Qualification:
- hold a B.Sc./B.Tech. degree in Computer Science
Desirable Qualifications:
- have experience in the following -
- Linux system administration
- Configuring and maintaining servers: DNS, LDAP, Kerberos, web, storage, application, software license, among others
- Configuring and troubleshooting network issues - both wired and wireless
Benefits The selected candidates will receive a consolidated emolument of ₹15,000 per month.

Selection Criteria
Applications will be initially screened and shortlisted for an on-campus selection process, which will be a combination of written test, task-based test, and interviews.

- Mere fulfilment of minimum eligibility will not bestow the right for shortlisting.
- IIT Dharwad reserves the right to screen and shortlist candidates by introducing higher benchmarks.
- Emails will be sent to all shortlisted candidates.
- The selected candidates shall not have a claim on any regular position and shall not be bestowed any of the privileges like housing, medical facilities and other benefits available to regular employees of the Institute.
- No interim correspondence whatsoever will be entertained from the candidates.
- Canvassing in any form or bringing in any influence political or otherwise, will be a disqualification for the post.
- In case of any dispute/ ambiguity that may occur in the process of selection, the decision of the Institute shall be final.
