About The Program
IIT Dhanbad Post-Doctoral Fellowship in Central Research Facility (CRF) 2021 is a research opportunity offered to Ph.D. degree holders. The selected candidate is required to work in Central Research Facility (CRF), particularly for the functioning of instruments related to mechanical characterizations such as Universal Tribometer, Microhardness tester, UTM. The fellow will receive a consolidated fellowship of INR 60,000 for the 1st year, INR 63,000 for the 2nd year, and INR 66,150 for the 3rd year.

To be eligible, an applicant must -
- Be of 35 years less in age
- Hold a Ph.D. degree with Science/Engineering background
- Have hands-on experience of the required instruments as well as analysis of acquired data
- Provide support to operate and maintain the instruments OR
- Hold a Ph.D. degree (within 5 years of completion of Ph.D.) with at least two papers in journals of repute (SCI/SCIE or Q1/Q2)
Note - The candidate holding a Ph.D. degree of IIT (ISM), Dhanbad will be eligible to apply after two years from the date of award of Ph.D.
Benefits
The fellow will receive a consolidated fellowship of INR 60,000 for the 1st year, INR 63,000 for the 2nd year, and INR 66,150 for the 3rd year.
