To be eligible, an applicant must:
- Hold a Post Graduate Degree in Environment science with NET/GATE qualification
or
- Hold a Graduate / Post Graduate Degree in Environment Engineering with NET/GATE* qualification
*The requirement of NET/GATE examination for the selection to the post of JRF may be relaxed for the candidates who have graduated from Centrally Funded Technical Institutes (CFTIs) with a CGPA of more than 8.000 (80% aggregate marks)
Benefits
The selected candidate will receive a consolidated fellowship of INR 31,000 per month plus 24% HRA.

Selection Criteria
The selection will be based on the applicant's performance in the interview. Candidates who have worked and gained relevant experience in 'design & development of low cost portable optical sensor for the detection of PM2.5 and development of its field calibration protocol' are desirable.
