About The Program
IIT Delhi Department of Energy Science and Engineering Junior Research Fellowship 2022 is a research opportunity offered to postgraduate degree holders. The fellowship is meant for the project titled - "Experimental Investigations on a Hybrid ECR-RF Plasma Source for Applications (RP04275G)" funded by the Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB). The selected fellow will receive a consolidated fellowship of INR 31,000 per month plus 24% HRA.

To be eligible, an applicant must -
- Hold a postgraduate degree in physics or allied branch
- Have at least 60% marks in the qualifying degree
- Have qualified a National Eligibility Test [UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) or GATE]
Desirable Knowledge -
- Have Mechanical Drawing concepts, Computational programming languages such as MATLAB, MATHEMATICA, C, C++, Knowledge of software such as ORlGlN, LABVIEW, etc.
Note* - The requirement of NET/GATE examination for the selection to the post of JRF/SRF will be relaxed for the candidates who have graduated from Centrally Funded Technical Institutes (CFTls) with a CGPA of more than 8.000 (80% aggregate marks).
