About The Program
Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay invites applications for IIT Bombay Junior Research Fellowship 2020 from Postgraduate degree holders. The fellowship is a temporary post for project titled, “Prediction of coastal zone vulnerability due to sea-level rise under the changing climate". The fellows selected for the position can avail a monthly stipend of INR 31,000 per month plus HRA.

To be eligible, an applicant must -
- Hold a postgraduate degree in Basic Science, OR
- Hold a graduate/postgraduate degree in a professional course selected through one of the following -
- CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship and GATE
- The selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MHRD,
ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER etc.
- Have the required degree in Civil/Ocean Engineering/Science or relevant field with work experience of numerical modelling and long term data analysis along with statistical competence
Note: Experience on GIS-based plotting tool will be an added advantage.
