About The Program
The IIT Bhubaneswar Summer Internship 2026 is offered by the Indian Institute of Technology Bhubaneswar. The programme is designed to provide motivated students from recognised academic institutions an opportunity to engage in hands-on research and academic work alongside IIT Bhubaneswar faculty. Selected interns will receive the certificate of completion.

To be eligible, an applicant must:
- Be a student currently registered for a degree programme at any academic institution in India.
- Wish to carry out an internship at IIT Bhubaneswar in one of the following areas:
- School of Basic Sciences
- School of Earth, Ocean & Climate Sciences
- School of Electrical and Computer Sciences
- School of Infrastructure
- School of Mechanical Sciences
- School of Humanities, Social Sciences and Management
- School of Minerals, Metallurgical and Materials Engineering
Note: The duration of the internship shall be between 3-8 weeks during the summer vacation of IIT Bhubaneswar.
Benefits
Selected interns will receive the certificate of completion, along with access to IIT Bhubaneswar's library, internet, and academic facilities during the internship period.
Note: Hostel accommodation may be provided, if available, on a payment basis (subject to approval by the Chairperson, Warden Council through the Supervisor).
