The Indian Institute of Technology, Bhubaneswar is inviting applications for IIT Bhubaneswar Senior Research Fellowship 2020 from students having an MSc in Chemistry degree. The fellowship is meant for a temporary research project titled, "Blending traditional and newer synthetic methods for regio/stereoselective synthesis of functionalized carbo/heterocycles: Application towards the asymmetric total synthesis of some complex bioactive terpenoid-alkaloids." The selected fellows will receive a fellowship of INR 35,000 per month.

DeadlineClosed Eligibility To be eligible, an applicant must-
- Hold an MSc in Chemistry with minimum 55% or (CGPA > 5.5) with 2 years post-MSc research experience
- Preferably have 1 research publication
- Have a valid GET score/ NET‐LS
Benefits The selected fellows will receive a fellowship of INR 35,000 per month.

How can you apply? Interested candidates who wish to attend this Walk‐in‐Interview through personal presence may come with original and attested copies of all certificates and testimonials related to their qualification. While those who wish to give online interview through online (skype) should send their documents and skype IDs to the PI at tabrez@iitbbs.ac.in at least two days before the interview date.

The selection will be based on the applicant's performance in the interview.

- Candidates having essential qualification will only be considered for the interview.
- The duration of the project is three years.
- The initial period of engagement is one year which can be further extended based on the performance of the fellows.
