About The Program

IIT BHU Varanasi School of Biomedical Engineering Research Associateship 2022 is a research opportunity offered to Ph.D. degree holders. The fellowship requires the candidate to work on a sponsored project entitled - “Development of Cardiac Model for Prediction of Human Heart Failure Using Noninvasive Medical Imaging and Computational Fluid Dynamics Techniques”. The selected candidate will receive a fellowship of INR 47,000 per month plus 16% HRA.

EligibilityDeadline Date: Closed

To be eligible, an applicant must -

  • Not be more than 35 years of age
  • Hold a Ph.D. degree in Biomedical Engineering/Mechanical Engineering or three years of research, teaching and design and development experience after M.E/M.Tech. degree in Mechanical Engineering/Biomedical Engineering with at least one research paper published in Science Citation Indexed (SCI) journal
  • Have submitted their Ph.D thesis
  • Have consistent good academic records

 

Desirable Qualifications - 

  • Have software proficiency like Mimics, Ansys, CFD/SFI, Simvascular

  • No TA/DA will be paid if called for an interview.
  • The position is purely temporary basis and is coterminous with the project.
  • The Principal Investigator (PI) has the discretion to restrict the number of candidates to be called for the interviews to a reasonable limit on the basis of qualifications and experience higher than the minimum prescribed in the advertisement.
  • Only shortlisted candidates will be communicated by email after the deadline to appear in the interview and no other communications in this regard will be entertained.
