About The Program
IIT BHU Varanasi Pharmaceutical Engineering & Technology Department Junior Research Fellowship 2022 is a research opportunity offered to M. Pharm/M. S. (Pharm.)/M. Tech (Pharm)/M. Tech degree holders. The fellowship requires the candidate to work on the project entitled, “Discovery of Novel Selective Inhibitors of Choline Acetyltransferase: Lead Optimization and In Vivo Pharmacokinetic Studies". The selected candidate will receive an emolument of INR 31,000 per month plus HRA (as applicable).

To be eligible, an applicant must -
- Be below 28 years of age
- Have a first-class degree in M. Pharm/M. S. (Pharm.)/M. Tech (Pharm)/M. Tech in Medicinal Chemistry/Pharmaceutical Chemistry
- Be GATE/GPAT/CSIR-NET or equivalent examination qualified
- Have a basic degree in pharmacy (B. Pharm). The candidates appearing in the final semester of M. Pharm/M.S.(Pharm.)/M. Tech (Pharm)/M. Tech is also eligible.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Have 1-2 years of experience in multi-step organic synthesis and in vivo pharmacokinetic assays using HPLC/LC-MS in an industry/ academic laboratory
