About The Program
IIT BHU Varanasi Electrical Engineering Department (EED) Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) 2022 is a research opportunity offered by the Indian Institute of Technology (BHU), Varanasi to B.E./B.Tech or M.E./M.Tech degree holders. The fellowship requires the candidate to work on a SERB sponsored project entitled - “Reliability Evaluation and Performance Enhancement of Grid Integrated Hybrid Renewable Power Systems." The selected candidate will receive a fellowship of INR 31,000 per month plus 16% HRA.

To be eligible, an applicant must -
- Be below 28 years of age
- Hold a B.E./B.Tech. degree in Electrical Engineering with a minimum of 65% marks and a valid GATE score, OR
- Hold an M.E./M.Tech. degree in Electrical Engineering with specialization(s) in Electrical Machines & Drives/Power Electronics/Power Systems / Renewable Energy Systems with minimum 65% marks with GATE qualification in Electrical Engineering
Desirable/Preferable Experience -
- Have experience in related area(s) of Electrical Engineering/publication

- The position is purely temporary and is coterminous with the project.
- The Principal Investigator has the discretion to restrict the number of candidates to be called for interviews to a reasonable limit on the basis of qualifications and experience higher than the minimum prescribed in the advertisement.
- Only shortlisted candidates will be communicated to appear in the interview and no other communications in this regard will be entertained.
- The candidate is expected to join immediately if selected.
- No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
