About The Program
IIT BHU Varanasi Department of Mining Engineering (DME) Junior Research Fellowship 2021 is a research opportunity offered to B.E. /B.Tech. and M.Tech. degree holders. The fellowship requires the candidates to work on a DST-SERB sponsored project entitled - “Stability Evaluation of Dump Slopes and Developing Slope Stability Models for Design of Long-Term stable Dump Slopes through Proper Benching and vegetation -Part B”. The selected candidate will receive a fellowship of INR 31,000 per month.

To be eligible, an applicant must -
- Be below 28 years of age
- Have first-class in B.E./B.Tech. degree in Mining Engineering and M.Tech degree in Mining Engineering with GATE qualified and average marks of 8 CGPA
Desirable Qualifications:
- Have experience in Slope Stability Analysis, Dump Slope Reinforcement, etc.
