About The Program
IIT BHU Varanasi Department of Metallurgical Engineering Post Doctoral Fellowship 2022 is a research opportunity offered to Ph.D. degree holders. The fellowship requires the candidate to work on the project entitled, “Chemical Recycling of Electronic Waste for Sustainable Livelihoods and Material Consumption in India". The selected candidate will receive a monthly emolument of INR 47,000 per month plus HRA (as per the institute rule).

To be eligible, an applicant must -
- Be below 35 years of age
- Hold a Ph.D. degree in Engineering/Sciences (Metallurgical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Material Science, Chemistry)
- Have submitted Ph.D. thesis*
Desirable Qualifications -
- Have experience in metal extraction and knowledge of material characterization techniques
- Have publications in high impact journals (SCI)
Note* - The submitted can be considered subject to the production of a certificate in support of the claim.
