About The Program
Indian Institute of Science Education and Research Thiruvananthapuram invites applications for IISER Thiruvananthapuram Department of Science and Technology (QuEST program) Junior Research Fellowship 2021 from postgraduate degree holders. The fellowship is meant for the project titled, "Open quantum systems – NonMarkovian Dynamics and Not Completely Positive Maps (DST-QuEST project No. Q113)". The selected candidates will receive a fellowship of INR 31,000 per month plus HRA.
EligibilityDeadline Date: Closed
To be eligible, an applicant must:
- Not be more than 28 years with applicable relaxation for SC/ST, OBC candidates
- Hold an MSc degree in Physics with valid score/rank in one of the national eligibility tests like GATE, JEST, CSIR-UGC NET including a lectureship
- Hold a Master's degree through National Level examinations conducted by DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER, etc.
- Have specialization in quantum information theory and/or theoretical solid-state physics
