About The Program
IISER Pune CHANAKYA Post-Doctoral Fellowship (C-PDF) 2022 is offering a research opportunity to Ph.D. degree holders. The selected candidates are required to work on a project entitled - “Quantum Magnetism in Two-dimension and Spintronic Devices". The fellows will receive a consolidated fellowship of INR 80,000 per month.

To be eligible, an applicant must -
- Not more than 37 years as on the last date of application
- Hold a Ph.D. degree in Physics (Theoretical/Computational Condensed Matter Physics)
- Have working experience in one or more of the following fields will be preferred:
- First-principles calculations, Many-body Physics, Quantum Magnetism, Strongly correlated electron system, Spintronics
Note - The candidates with post-PhD experience will also be given preference.

- No TA/DA will be admissible for appearing for the interview.
- No interim enquiries/correspondence/communication of any sort will be entertained on the matter.
- Age relaxation commensurate with the relevant experience of the applicant can be considered with the prior approval of the competent authority.
- The appointment is purely temporary and will terminate automatically without any notice or compensation on the termination of the project.
- The appointed person will have no claim of appointment/absorption in the Funding Agency or in IISER Pune.
- The appointment of the applicant will be governed by the terms and conditions of the funding agency particularly applicable to the said project.
- The qualification prescribed should have been obtained from recognized Universities/Institutions.
- Canvassing in any form and/or bringing any influence, political, or otherwise, will be treated as a disqualification for the post applied for.
- Recent passport size photographs and photocopies of relevant certificates and other testimonials in support of age, qualification, experience etc. will be collected and verified at an appropriate stage.
