About The Program
Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER), Mohali invites applications for IISER Mohali Department of Mathematical Sciences Research Associateship 2020 from PhD degree holders. The associateship is purely on a temporary basis for the contract under the DST-INSPIRE (DST/INSPIRE/04/2016/001846 ). The selected fellows will receive monthly emolument of INR 55,000 per month.

To be eligible, an applicant must -
- Hold a PhD in Mathematics
- Have expertise in Linear Algebraic Groups (particularly problems related to conjugacy classes of elements and various interesting subgroups of a linear algebraic group)
