About The Program
Indian Institute of Science Education and Research, Kolkata invites applications for the IISER Kolkata Project Fellowship in MoES 2021 from master's degree holders. The fellowship is meant for the project titled, "Attenuation Structure of J&K Himalaya using Coda-Q Tomography". The selected candidate will receive a consolidated fellowship of INR 25,000 per month as per the rules.

To be eligible, an applicant must:
- Hold a Master' degree of Science (M.Sc.) in Geophysics/Geology/Earth Sciences/Physics
- Have Physics and Mathematics as subsidiary/pass subjects in Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.)
- Minimum of 55% marks in M.Sc.
Desirable Experience: Prior knowledge of UNIX/Linux computing, shell scripting, Fortran/ Matlab programming, and use of Mapping Tools (eg. GMT) is highly desired.
