About The Program
Indian Institute of Science Education and Research, Kolkata invites applications for the IISER Kolkata MHRD-STAR Department of Biological Sciences Junior Research Fellowship 2021 from B.Tech/B.E./M.Sc degree holders. The fellowship is meant for the project titled, "Integrating Metabolic and Protein Engineering for the Production of Sustainable Biofuels". The selected fellow will receive a consolidated remuneration as per funding agency norms.

To be eligible, an applicant must:
- Hold a B.Tech./B.E./M.Sc degree in Biotechnology/Biochemistry etc, and qualification in a national level exam and will be as per terms and conditions laid down by MHRD
- Have experience in any of the following areas: bioinformatics, Molecular Biology, Protein Biochemistry, Protein Engineering
