Indian Institute of Science Education and Research, Kolkata invites applications for IISER Kolkata Department of Biological Sciences Post-Doctoral Fellowship 2020 from PhD degree holders. The fellowship is meant for a project entitled, “Decision making in the context of relocation in an Indian ant: Small brains and big feats?". The selected fellows will receive a consolidated fellowship of INR 47,000 per month.

- Hold a PhD degree (within the last 2 years) in the area of behavioural /ecological/evolutionary biology
Benefits The selected fellows will receive a consolidated fellowship of INR 47,000 per month.

Selection Criteria
Selection will be based on the applicant's performance in the interview.
Terms and Conditions
- Candidate will be expected to frame questions within a broader theme, design and perform behavioural experiments independently and communicate the work they perform.
- The candidate will also be expected to supervise visiting students and help in lab experiments.
- No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
- Only short-listed candidates will be contacted by email.
- The date of interview at IISER Kolkata will be notified to selected candidates via email.
