IISER Bhopal Department of Data Science and Engineering Junior Research Fellowship 2021

To be eligible, the applicant must - 

• No exceed 35 years of age
• Hold an M.Tech./M.E./M.S./M.Sc./M.C.A./B.Tech./B.E./B.S. degree in Computer Science or related fields from a recognized Institute/University
• Have a minimum of 60% marks or CGPA of 7.0 on a 10 point scale (overall percentage/CGPA/CPI; not only in majoring subject)

Desirable Qualifications:

• Be CSIR/ UGC NET or GATE qualified
• Have Knowledge of basic Mathematics, Statistics, and Programming Languages e.g., Python, R, etc.
• Have Knowledge of regular machine learning and NLP techniques for information extraction and can run relevant tools like Scikit-Learn, NLTK, Gensim, Tensorflow, etc.

The candidate will receive a fellowship in the following ways - 

• INR 31,000 plus HRA for the candidate with CSIR/ UGC NET or GATE qualification
• INR 25,000 plus HRA for the candidate without CSIR/ UGC NET or GATE qualification.

• Cover letter addressed to the Head, Department of Data Science and Engineering, Indian Institute of Science Education and Research Bhopal including the Project Name along with the current resume (duly signed) of the candidate in English
•  Detailed CV, including address, contact numbers, email address, academic qualifications with percentage of marks obtained in each examination starting from 12 th class, date of birth and work experience, if any
• Photocopies of transcript/final marksheet of all qualifications starting from 12 th class in a single PDF file
• Self attested photocopy of SC/ST/OBC/Differently abled status certificate, if any
