About The Program
IISc Summer Fellowship in Science and Engineering 2018 is a fellowship for SC/ST students studying 1st-year M.Sc in science disciplines (Biological, Physical, Chemical and Mathematical Sciences) or 3rd-year B.E./B.Tech or equivalent degree in all discipline during the academic year 2017-18.
EligibilityDeadline Date: Closed
- Only SC/ST student.
- 1st-year M.Sc in Science disciplines (Biology, Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics).
Or
- 3rd-year B.E./B.Tech or equivalent degree.
NOTE: 2nd Year MSc students, 4th Year Engineering, M Tech students and students already applied in past are not eligible for this program.

Award Details:
- Traveling allowance equivalent to 2nd Class sleeper train fare from nearest station of college/residence to IISc. and back.
- Free boarding and lodging (on sharing basis) at IISc.
- Fellowship of INR 5,000 and a book grant of INR 1,500

NOTE: After submitting the online application, take a print out of the application. Attach latest passport size color photograph at the identified place.
