A committee comprising of faculty members will screen and finalize the candidates for accepting as Summer Interns and attach each intern to a faculty supervisor on the explicit willingness of a faculty mentor. The Committee will select the interns based on CGPA/interview/project proposal, technical accomplishments, etc.

About The Program
IIIT Naya Raipur Outreach Internship Programme 2022 is an internship opportunity offered by the International Institute of Information Technology, Naya Raipur to students pursuing bachelor’s or master’s degrees. The institute has been organizing this programme since 2017 and allows the candidates to participate in on-going research projects and simultaneously enabling the students to fulfill summer internship requirements of their respective academic programs. The selected intern will receive variable awards.

To be eligible, an applicant must -
- Be pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree from reputed institutes
- Be from CSE, IT, ECE, ETE, EE, EEE, EI, Mathematics, Physics, Management, and related backgrounds.
- Be completing the 6th semester (3rd year)
Benefits
The selected candidates will receive the following benefits -
- Internship and stay at IIIT Naya Raipur involve some expenditure to be incurred by intern students.
- A stipend if they work 6 to 8 weeks, failing which intern will not be entitled to receive any stipend with certificates. Interns can join earlier/later as per their academic calendar for the lesser duration of at least 6 weeks, but in this case, no stipend will be provided, only a certificate will be issued to the intern.
- A limited number of fellowships are available for the candidates undergoing summer internships on the recommendation of a faculty supervisor.

Selection Criteria
Terms and Conditions
- An intern has to work in offline mode for 6 to 8 weeks to receive a stipend from the funded internships along with a certificate. In the case of an online internship, the stipend will not be provided but a certificate will be issued. Students can join earlier/later as per their academic calendar but the duration should be at least 6 weeks.
- The candidate will be informed about the acceptance of their candidature subject to fulfilment of Institute Rules.
- Intern students will be provided hostel accommodation if required with nominal charges. The accommodation facility is subject to availability. The cost of food and access to other amenities have to be paid for by the student.
- Applicants should not send filled application form hardcopy to IIIT Naya Raipur.
- Students need to report at the main gate with an Internship Letter.
- A hard copy of the Internship Letter and Application Form with the requisite documents signed by the student should be submitted at the time of joining the internship to the Student Affair (I/c).
