About The Program
The IIIT Hyderabad Summer Internship 2025 is an opportunity provided by the International Institute of Information Technology (IIIT), Hyderabad, to UG, PG and recent graduate students. This 6-8 week internship provides an opportunity for the students to work as an Indigenous Language Development Intern, preserving and promoting Telangana’s indigenous languages. The selected high-performing candidates can receive a cash prize of ₹3,000.

To be eligible, an applicant must:-
- be UG/PG students or recent graduates
- have written and spoken fluently in one of the following indigenous languages:
- Gondi
- Koya
- Kolami
- Naikdi
- Chenchu
- Kaikadi (Yerukala)
- Lambadi
- Nakkala
- Konda Kammara
- have basic proficiency in English or Telugu
- have a genuine interest in preserving indigenous languages through digital platforms
- have a basic technical knowledge of using the internet
