Indira Gandhi National Tribal University, Amarkantak invites applications for the IGNTU Amarkantak Department of Biotechnology Research Assistantship 2021 from master's degree holders. The fellowship is a temporary post for the ICMR-National Task Force Project, entitled “Improving the Capacity of Health System and Community for Sickle Cell Disease Screening and Management: An Intervention Study in Anuppur district, Madhya Pradesh". The selected candidate will receive a consolidated fellowship up to INR 31,000 per month.

DeadlineClosed Eligibility To be eligible, an applicant must:
- Not exceed 30 years of age
- Hold a Master’s degree in Biotechnology/Human Genetics/Anthropology/Social Work
- Have given the NET exam
- Have experience in community health-based research
Benefits The selected candidate will receive a consolidated fellowship up to INR 31,000 per month.

- One attested copy of each of the certificates.
- Copies of brief Curriculum Vitae as per format enclosed.

The selection will be based on the applicant's performance in the interview.

- Qualification and experience should be from a recognized organization.
- Since the post(s) is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project the incumbents selected will have no claim for regular appointments under ICMR or in Indira Gandhi National Tribal University for the continuation of his/her services in any other project.
- Online Interview.
- Qualification and experience should be from a recognized organization.
- Canvassing in any form will be a disqualification.
- Persons already in regular scale service under any Government Department/Organization are not eligible to apply.
