About The Program

Indian Council of World Affairs invites applications for the ICWA  Essay Competition 2017 as part of its ‘Awareness Programme on Indian Foreign Policy’. This competition is for school students 15-18 years and undergraduate or postgraduate students 18-25 years. The topic for Junior Level i.e 15-18 years is "What India’s Foreign Policy means to Young India/ India’s Foreign Policy Priorities for the Youth" in about 1500 words and the topic for Senior Level i.e 18-25 years is "Conflict, Religion and Foreign Policy" in about 2500 words. The first three winners for both the level will receive cash prize up to Rs 25000.

  • Age students of age group 15 to 25 years are eligible to apply.
  • School students (15-18 years) and undergraduate/ postgraduate students (18-25 years).
