About The Program
The International Crops Research Institute for the Semi-Arid Tropics, Hyderabad invites applications for the ICRISAT Hyderabad Research Associateship 2021 from PhD degree holders. This role is responsible to provide assistance in the activities under the DBT project of ‘Characterization of Chickpea Germplasm Resource to Accelerate Genomics assisted Crop-Improvement’. The selected fellows will receive variable awards.
EligibilityDeadline Date: Closed
To be eligible, an applicant must -
- Hold a PhD in Agriculture with specialization in Plant Breeding and Genetics/Genetic Resources/ or other relevant plant science, with proven research publication record
- Have experience in using different agricultural and bioinformatics software for data analysis
- Have a good quality publication record in peer-reviewed journals
Experience in germplasm characterization and crop management of ICRISAT mandate crops, particularly chickpea is preferred.
