About The Program
The ICGEB-DIC-MOST International Fellowship Programme 2025 is an opportunity provided by the International Centre for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology (ICGEB) and the Department of International Cooperation of the Ministry of Science and Technology (DIC-MOST), China to scientists from ICGEB member states and researchers. This fellowship aims to benefit researchers with the expertise and technologies in the leading laboratories in China. The selected candidates will receive a monthly stipend of 20,000 RMB Yuan (approx. ₹2.34 lakhs).

To be eligible, an applicant must:-
- be a national of an ICGEB member state (including India)
- have at least two years of post-doctoral research work experience
- be less than 45 years of age
- be willing to spend 3, 6, or 12 months at a research institute in China

Eligible candidates can apply for the fellowship through the following steps:-

Step 6: Once you have successfully registered, log in using your email ID and password.
Step 7: Fill in all the details, upload the necessary documents and proceed with your application.
Note:-
- Before proceeding with the online application, applicants first need to contact the Principal Investigators of the Partnering institutes in China and submit their research project proposal for evaluation.
- Once shortlisted, the partnering institution shall provide the applicant with a work consent letter that has to be submitted as a part of the online application.
