About The Program
ICAR- IARI ICAR Genetics Department Senior Research Fellowship (SRF) 2021 is a research opportunity offered to master’s degree holders. The selected candidate is required to work on a project entitled - "CRP on Molecular Breeding (Chickpea Component)". The selected fellow will receive up to INR 31,000 per month plus 24% HRA (as per ICAR ).
EligibilityDeadline Date: Closed
To be eligible, an applicant must-
- Be maximum 35 years of age
- Hold a Master’s degree in Genetics/Plant Breeding/Genetics and Plant Breeding/Seed Science/Plant Biotechnology/Life Sciences with specialization in Plant Sciences as evidenced by dissertation work/Biotechnology with 4 years Bachelor’s degree, OR
- Hold a 3 years Bachelor’s degree with UGC/CSIR/ICAR NET qualification or equivalent or Ph.D./M.Tech degree in any of the above disciplines
Desirable Qualifications -
- Have experience in statistical techniques and computer skills as evidenced by thesis work or publications

- No TA/DA or any other expenses will be paid for attending the interview.
- Only the candidates having essential qualifications would be shortlisted and entertained for the interview.
- The posts are purely temporary and will be filled on a contractual basis initially up to 31st March 2022, but can be extended further based on the performance of the candidate or till the termination of the project whichever is earlier.
