About The Program
ICAR-CIPHET Junior Research Fellowship 2021 is for master’s degree holders. The fellowship is meant for the project titled, "Non-chemical Management of Stored-grain Moths using Flexible Light-trap". The selected candidate will receive an emolument of up to INR 31,000 per month plus HRA.

To be eligible, an applicant must -
- Hold a Master’s degree in Agricultural Entomology/ Zoology (specialized in Entomology)/ Apiculture/ Sericulture, OR
- Have Biological Sciences or allied disciplines with entomology as a minor subject
- Have knowledge/experience in Insect Culturing, Insect Ecological Studies, Morphometry Analysis, and other basic experimentation related to entomological research with published research papers
Benefits
1) The candidate who is selected through the following criteria will receive an emolument of INR 31,000 plus HRA.
(a) National Eligibility Tests, CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship or GATE, OR
(b) A selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their agencies & institutions.
2) The candidate who doesn't fall under (1) will receive an emolument of INR 25,000 plus HRA.
As per DST O.M., SR/S9/Z-05/2019 dated 10.07.2020.
