About The Program
IASST Guwahati Post-Doctoral Fellowship (PDF) 2021 is a research opportunity offered to Ph.D. degree holders. The candidate will receive a fellowship as per the DST National Post-Doctoral Fellow guidelines including admissible HRA at Guwahati.
EligibilityDeadline Date: Closed
To be eligible, an applicant must -
- Be 35 years of age at the time of the application.
- Have submitted their Ph.D. thesis
- Hold a Completed Ph.D. degree with the following subject/ area:

- Basic and Applied Plasma Physics: Basic and applied Plasma Physics.
- Advanced Material Sciences: Condensed Matter Physics/Materials Science, Experimental soft and nanomaterials.
- Traditional Knowledge-Based Drug Development & Delivery: (i) Proteomics and (ii) Cell biology and cellular signaling
- Biodiversity and Echo system research: Chemo-Bio treatment of the contaminated area
- Mathematical and Computational Sciences: Computer Vision and Pattern Recognition
Desirable Qualifications:
- Have sound knowledge of running common analytical/laboratory instruments related to his/her research field
- At least 3 first-author publications in peer-reviewed national and international journals
