IAS-INSA Summer Research Fellowship Programme 2022 is a research opportunity offered to UG/PG/Ph.D. degree and teachers. The selected fellows will receive variable awards.

To be eligible, an applicant must -
For Students -
- Hold any of the following degrees -
- B.S./B.Sc./BVSc (II year only)
- B.Pharm (III and IV years only)
- B.E./B.Tech./BCA (II and III years only)
- B.Arch. (II, III, and IV years only)
- M.S./M.Sc./MVSc./M.Pharm (I year only)
- M.E./M.Tech./MCA/M.Arch. (I year only)
- (5-year integrated) M.S./M.Sc. /M.Tech./MBBS (II, III, IV years only)
- PharmD (III, IV years only)
- (dual degree) B.Tech. + M.Tech. (II, III, IV years only)
- (dual degree) B.E. + M.Sc. (II, III, IV years only)
- (dual degree) B.S. + M.S. (II, III, IV years only)
- Integrated Ph.D. (I, II years only)
- M.Sc. Tech (I, II years only)
- Have obtained a minimum of 65% or above marks in core subjects only (i.e. excluding languages) from Class 10 to Postgraduation (whichever years completed)
For Teachers -
- Be teaching in a College/University
Note -
- Ph.D. students are not eligible.
- Applicants who have availed the Academies fellowship twice before are not eligible to apply.

How can you apply?
Eligible candidates can apply for the fellowship by following the steps mentioned below:

Step 4: Upload the scanned copies of supporting documents and submit the application.
Note - The size of each marks sheet must not exceed 700 kb and must be in JPEG format.

Selection Criteria
Terms and Conditions
- Do not use special/scientific characters like Ø Ü etc... in the write-ups as the software will prevent you from uploading the application with such characters.
- The student applicants must upload the contact details of one of their present teachers or the Head of the Department (HoD). The Academy will get in touch with the teacher and obtain the recommendation letter.
- All decisions regarding the selection of candidates will be at the sole discretion of the academies.
- Any grievance or dispute concerning SRFP 2022 will be addressed to the Academy whose decision thereon will be final.
- If a candidate is found at any point of time to have submitted false information, the fellowship will be cancelled, and the candidate will be asked to pay back the fellowship amount/travel allowance etc. that has been paid to them. Further the guide and the Institution in which the candidate is currently studying will be informed of the matter.
