About The Program
I am the Change Fellowship 2017 is a fellowship for the graduates and postgraduates who are below 40 years and have 0 to 20 years of job experience. During the fellowship period, every fellow will be allocated a unique project in the educational sector which they need to complete within their fellowship period.
EligibilityDeadline Date: Closed
- Applicants who are passionate and ready to work for the community for next 2 years.
- Applicants must have minimum 3 years full-time graduation degree.
- Applicant must be less than 40 years of age.
- Applicants should be ready to work in Chennai for at least 2 years.
Benefits
A stipend of INR 15000 per month will be provided for the fellowship.

A: I am the change Fellowship is a two-year paid fellowship program.

A: Yes, the stipend is Rs. 15,000 per month. Project related travel and phone expenses will be reimbursed.

A: This is the first year of I am the Change Fellowship. We have 4 fellows as part of this fellowship now. More fellows are expected to join in 2017.

A: Yes, it's mandatory to stay in Chennai during the fellowship period since all our projects are Chennai based.
Q: Do I need to know Local Language Tamil?
A: Knowing Tamil gives you an added advantage.This is because you will be working with professionals and children from educational institutions as part of your project. However, some of the projects mentioned do not require knowledge of local language.
