About The Program

HPCL Apprenticeship for Engineering Graduates 2023-24 is an opportunity offered by Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) [a Government of India Enterprise under the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas] to graduates in Engineering disciplines. The selected candidates will receive INR 25,000 per month.

EligibilityDeadline Date: Closed

To be eligible, an applicant must - 

  • be between 18-25 years of age as on 11th January 2023 [Note - Age relaxation of 5 years will be given to SC/ST, 3 years to OBC-NC and 10 years for PwBD candidates)
  • be studying in one of the following Engineering disciplines -
    • Civil
    • Mechanical
    • Electrical
    • Electrical & Electronics
    • Electronics & Telecommunication
    • Instrumentation
    • Computer Science/ IT
  • have secured an aggregate of 60% in all semesters (for Gen/OBC-NC) and 50% [SC/ST/PwBD/(VH/HH/OH*)]

*Note - VH- Visually Handicapped, HH- Hearing Handicapped, OH- Orthopedically handicapped.

How can you apply?

Eligible candidates can apply for the apprenticeship using the below-mentioned steps - 
Step 1: Click on the 'Apply Now' button.
Step 2: Click on the 'Register' button and fill in the required details to 'Register'. (Note - If already registered, log in using Gmail/Mobile number/Email Id.)
Step 3: Click on the 'Enroll' tab.
Step 4: Fill in all required details, and click on the 'Submit' tab to end the enrollment procedure on the National Web Portal.
Step 5: After successful registration, click on the 'Login' tab. (Note - If already registered, kindly log in with valid credentials.)
Step 6: Log in using the username and password.
Step 7: Search for Establishment - 'Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited with establishment ID WMHMCC000051' and complete the apprenticeship application to apply.

Selection Criteria

The candidates will be selected based on the fulfilment of the eligibility criteria.

All India merit list will be drawn based on the academic results of engineering degree and Scores in the interview. 

Final offer for Apprenticeship Training would be subject to clearing the Medical Test as per HPCL standards and submission of all documents/ certificates towards proof of Age, Qualifications, Caste, Medical certificate of PwBD and medical fitness etc.., as may be applicable.

Terms and Conditions
  • Only Indian nationals are eligible to apply.
  • Candidates belonging to General/OBC-NC category must have 60% aggregate whereas candidates belonging to SC/ST/PwBD (VH/HH/OH) must have 50% aggregate marks in all years/ semesters in the qualifying examination.
  • All the qualifications specified should be recognized by the Board of Technical Education/ UGC/AICTE.
  • Candidates who have been engaged previously as apprentices or are undergoing Apprenticeship training elsewhere and have an apprenticeship contract with any other organization under the Apprentices Act, 1961 on the NATS Portal are not eligible to apply.
  • Candidates who have got work experience of one year or more are not eligible to apply.
