About The Program

Hornby Scholarship 2017 objective is to provide an opportunity to support English language teaching worldwide to the students who have at least 2 years full-time English Language Teacher experience and a full university degree to study on the one-year Masters in English Language Teacher at the University of Warwick. There are 4 stages of qualifying for this programme and selected student will get stipend to cover accommodation and living expenses, tuition fees, and return air tickets, visa and IELTS test costs as a scholarship.

  • Students have a full university degree.
How can you apply?

Application can be done online with the following steps:
Step 1: Click on the application portal.
Step 2: Register as a new user.
Step 3: Complete an application form.
Step 4: Submit.

Selection process:

Students are selected by a 4 stage process:

  • In the 1st stage, the quality of the application form is assessed.
  • In the 2nd stage, selected students are invited for an interview at the British Council office in their country of origin.
  • In the 3rd stage, selected students apply to the university.
  • In the 4th stage, the student is accepted by the university. Only at this stage is the scholarship award is confirmed with the student.
