About The Program

Homi Bhabha-TIFR Graduate Scholarship is a Ph.D. Programme in Science Education for those candidates who are interested in science education, have flair for teaching and writing, have Curiosity about how students learn, must have critical and analytical skills and have done a commitment to improving education.

  • Master's candidates(M.Sc, M.Tech, M.A/M.S.W, M.Ed) are eligible to apply.
  • Science, mathematics, teachers, and educators are also eligible to apply.
Benefits

Award Details:

  • An amount of INR 25000 per month will be given until registration and INR 28000 per month will be given for post-registration.
  • Additionally, 30% HRA in lieu of on-campus institute accommodation will be given to the candidates.
  • An annual contingency grant of INR 32000 will also be provided to the candidates.

Step 5: Pay the application fee of INR 600.

Step 2: Fill in all the basic details.

Step 4: Make a draft of INR 600.

Terms and Conditions

Eligible applicants are required to give a written test, which will be held at nine Centres around the country: Chennai, Bengaluru, Pune, Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Bhopal and Guwahati (provisional). Those who qualify will be called for an interview.
