About The Program

Hamdan Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum International Photography Award invites applications from professional and amateur photographers for HIPA Next Generation Photography Contest 2017. 

 

EligibilityDeadline Date: Closed

To be eligible for the contest, a candidate must - 

  • Be either a professional or amateur photographer. 
  • Be of 18 years age or above at the time of submission. 

 

How can you apply?

Eligible candidates can submit their submission through Instagram with following steps -
Step 1: Open #HIPAContest_NxtGenPhoto.
Step 2: Make the submission. 

 

Terms and Conditions

Rules

  • A candidate can submit only one photo for the contest. 
  • The submitted photo must have an original file in JPEG format with high resolution quality and size not more than 5 MB. (The minimum of the longest edge should not be less than 2000 pixel and the quality should not be less than 300 dpi.)
  • The photo submission should not contain any signature, tag, initial, frame, logo, border or any other references. 
  • Photos with basic technical editing are acceptable, provided that such editing does not affect the genuineness or authenticity of the photo. 
  • Photos portraying inappropriate content will be disqualified. 
  • The winning photo will be announced during 4th Global Business Forum (GBF) on Africa, on 1st and 2nd November 2017 at Dubai's Madinat Jumeirah.
