Hindustan Times invites applications for Hindustan Times Scholarship Programme 2018 from students studying in class 5 to 10 residing in Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, Thane, Pune, Chandigarh, Panchkula and Mohali. The aim of the scholarship is to recognize and reward the brightest young minds.
This year's essay topic is: Are we too dependent on our computers and mobile phones; if yes, how can we reduce the addiction?
Hindustan Times Scholarship Programme 2018
DeadlineClosed Eligibility - Students studying in classes 5th to 10th in Mumbai
- Students studying in classes 5th to 9th in Pune and Chandigarh
- Should have scored more than 60% in their last year’s final examination
Benefits The winners will be felicitated at a special award function.
- 60 students will be selected from Mumbai and will be given a scholarship of INR 50,000 each.
- 35 students will be selected from Chandigarh, Panchkula and Mohali, and will be given a scholarship of INR 25,000 each.
- 25 students will be selected from Pune and will be given a scholarship of INR 25,000 each.

How can you apply? Steps to apply:
- Step 1: Click here to apply.
- Step 2: Fill the form online, attach pictures of 5 HT Scholarship filled in Quiz cuttings and submit the form online OR download the nomination form, fill it and send it along with the essay and any 5 HT Scholarship quiz cuttings to the following addresses:
For Mumbai - All For Kids, 8, Ground Floor, Pranav Building, Juhu Road, Santacruz West, Mumbai 400054.
For Pune - HT Scholarship Programme, HT Media Ltd., 504 / 505 City Tower, Boat Club Road, Pune 411001.
For Punjab and Haryana - HT Media Ltd., HT Scholarship Programme, C - 164 - 165 Industrial Focal Point Phase - VIII B, SAS Nagar, (Mohali), Punjab 160071.
Application to scholarships can also be made through:
- Forms published in newspaper Hindustan Times Mumbai Pune, Chandigarh, Mohali and Panchkula Edition
- Forms distributed in schools by HT Media Limited representatives
Important Dates
Selection Criteria
The winners will be selected basis the participant's academic and overall achievement, assessment in the essay and an interview session taken by Hindustan Times Media Limited panelists.
Terms and Conditions
- The successful students shall be required to get the Terms and Conditions signed by their parents/guardian before accepting the scholarship amount.
- The successful students will be given the scholarship amount in a Junior Kotak Mahindra bank account, opened in the name of the winner.
