About The Program
Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education invites applications from meritorious students of Himachal Pradesh who have scored more than 80% marks in class 10 and 12 board examination. The merit list for students of class 10 and class 12 science, arts, commerce is available on the official website of the board. A total of 600 scholarships will be disbursed under this scholarship programme.

To be eligible for this scholarship, an applicant must be-
- A domicile of the state of Himachal Pradesh
- A class 10 passed student having scored at least 80% marks in board examination
- A class 12 passed student (science, arts, commerce) having scored at least 80% marks in board examination
Benefits
Under this scholarship program, a total of 600 scholarships will be disbursed by the H.P. Board. The scholarships will be awarded in the following manner:
- 400 meritorious students will be selected for the scholarship based on class 10 examination results.
- 100 meritorious students will be selected from the Science group based on class 12 examination results.
- 100 meritorious students will be selected from the Arts, Commerce group based on class 12 examination results.

Step 1: Visit the official website of Himachal Board and check out the merit list to find eligible candidates. Here is the link.
Step 2: The eligible candidates can then download the application form from here after entering the required details.
Step 3: Fill the scholarship form, get it attested from the school principal/headmaster and upload the scanned copy of the form on the official website. Documents can be uploaded here.
Step 4: The hard copy of the duly filled and attested form must be sent to the below address-

Terms and Conditions
- The school principal/headmaster should carefully check the student's eligibility before attesting the scholarship form.
- Except for merit cum means, SC/ST, backward classes, the general category students will be eligible for only a single scholarship.
- The applications should reach the board before 15th November.
- The scholarship form should be attested by the concerned/recognized School Headmaster/Headmistress/Principal along with the photograph.
